OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2011. Futures contracts on the average power price index in the Center hub (ECBM-5.11 and ECPM-5.11), Ural hub (EUBM-5.11 and EUPM-5.11), Western Siberia hub (SWBM-5.11) and Eastern Siberia hub (SEBM-5.11) were settled, reported the press-centre of Concorde RTS.

In accordance with the contracts’ specifications the following final settlement prices were calculated:

ECBM-5.11 – 969.83

ECPM-5.11 – 1,081.49

EUBM-5.11 – 935.85

EUРM-5.11 – 1,019.49

SEBM-5.11 – 499.16

SWBM-5.11 – 560.72

The final settlement price is computed in accordance with the contract’s specifications based on the arithmetical mean of all values of the underlying power prices index that were published by the Moscow Energy Exchange in the period from May 1-31, 2011.

The below positions were settled for the following amounts:

ECBM-5.11 – 16 contracts for RUB1.153 million

ECPM-5.11 – 422 contracts for RUB11.872 million

EUBM-5.11 – 82 contracts for RUB5.710 million

EUРM-5.11 – 1062 contracts for RUB28.164 million

SEBM-5.11 – 18 contracts for RUB0.668 million

During the lifetime of the May power futures 1,708 trades representing 12,132 contracts were executed. Out of this number 1,600 contracts were held until expiry and were settled for a total of RUB47,568,051.
