TISCO Launched Transition Leaping Development

TISCO signing ceremony of TISCO key projects responsibility system during "the 12th five-year plan" period was held in the meeting room on fourth floor of Automation Company. At the meeting, targets, responsibility, progress, measures and organization of key projects of transformation leaping development during "the 12th five-year plan" period were laid out completely. At the meeting TISCO was request to firm the confidence, seize every minute, solve crucial difficulty and strive to realize the goals and tasks of key projects of transition leaping development during "the 12th five-year plan" before August 8th of 2014, the 80th anniversary of TISCO, reported the press-centre of TISCO.
Leaders of the Company Li Xiaobo, Yang Haigui, Hu Yuting, Liu Fuxing Zhou Yizhou, Wang Xinping, Han Ruiping, Hou Jinping, Wang Jiguang, Gao Xiangming, Chai Zhiyong, Lin Qiceng Xie Li, Zhang Zhifang, Han Zhentang and leaders above Vice President attended the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Deputy General Manager Gao Xiangming of Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. Group Company General Manager Hu Yuting, Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. General Manager Liu Fuxing signed the responsibility documents with some project managers respectively. Hu Yuting, on behalf of the Company Decision-making Group, signed a responsibility document with representative of project professional group.
Li Xiaobo delivered an important speech at the meeting. He said the meeting was not only a mobilization meeting and an oath-taking rally for the construction of key projects of transition leaping development during "the 12th five-year plan" period, but also an important symbol for dividing responsibility, implementing targets and boosting the construction Projects.
Li Xiaobo pointed out "the 12th five-year plan" period was the critical period of national urbanization, industrialization and the all-round construction of well-off society as well as the period of important strategic opportunities of our country. Provincial party committee and Provincial government explicitly put forward the strategy and target of transformation leaping development. Taiyuan municipal party committee and the city government also established the goal of building a first-class capital city, its connotation is to build Ttaiyuan City into first-class emerging industry base, first-class independent innovation base and first-class modern livable city. Among them, stainless steel industry development was in a very important position. Against this background, the company starting up and implementing a new round of key projects of transformation development is of great significance.
Li Xiaobo pointed out "the 12th five-year plan" period was the opportunity period of TISCO leaping development, confirm period of transformation development, key period for fostering the competitive advantage and struggle period for TISCO cadres and workers. During "the 11th five-year plan" period, by forging ahead around development strategic goal, TISCO made great progress, especially achieved remarkable performance in green development, which created conditions and laid a foundation for transition development and leaping development during "the 12th five-year plan" period. However, development was hard, and transformation development is even harder. Therefore, we should made sufficient mental preparation and work hard with arduous struggle to realize the new and greater progress.
Li Xiaobo made a presentation of the Company’s development strategy. He said the Company made clear the development target during "the 12th five-year plan" period, which is to insist on stronger principal work, extension development, diversified development, green development and harmonious development, build TISCO into the most competitive stainless steel enterprises in the world. At the end of "the 12th five-year plan" period, business income could break through 200 billion yuan, and become the domestic first-class, world famous conglomerates.
On stronger principal work, Li Xiaobo said: stronger principal work is the foundation of extension development and diversified development. To make stronger principal work is to always maintain the leadership in the global stainless steel industry; At the same time, in order to improve the quality of development, we should pursue better targets in varieties, quality and technology content, and by relying on technological innovation and developing the characteristic and high-end varieties, build TISCO into a steel base with extremely unique varieties.
On extension development, LiXiaoBo said: steel industry is a competitive industry, the company's cost advantage is determined by resources and energy. Without a good industry chain construction, it will be difficult to obtain competitive advantage. Over the years, the Company has done a lot of work in extension of upstream industry chain. During "the 12th five-year plan" period, TISCO will accelerate the resource strategy, further improve the self-sufficiency rate and control of strategic resources; actively promote products intensive processing, introduce excellent enterprise into stainless steel industrial park and form an industrial cluster.
On pluralistic development, Li Xiaobo said: we have made gratifying pace on pluralistic development in recent years. We need to play the comprehensive advantages and comprehensive ability that already formed and speed up development of new materials and preempt industry commanding heights; we need to increase unique engineering technology output we have formed over the years and expand the company's new benefit growth and competitiveness.
On green development, Li Xiaobo pointed out: the green development is not only the condition for company’s survival, but also the foundation for company’s further development. Through great efforts during "the 11th five-year plan" period, the Company's green development has walked into the forefront of China's steel industry. During "the 12th five-year plan" period, we should constantly improve the energy-conservation emissions-reduction and recycling economy level, become the demonstration plant of metallurgical industry green development, not only the domestic leading but also the world leading.
On harmonious development, Li Xiaobo pointed out: in recent years, the Company has made great reform and rapid development, the very important reason is that we have a good situation of harmonious development. The Company’s constantly enhanced strength and competitiveness is the material base of harmonious development. During "the 12th five-year plan" period, TISCO will further improve production and living conditions of workers, and constantly improve the quality of workers’ life and let them enjoy the development achievements of TISCO.
Li Xiaobo proposed requirements for key projects of transition leaping development during "the 12th five-year plan" period. He stressed, in order to complete "the 12th five-year plan" transition leaping development projects, we need overall arrangement and scientific organization. In implementation process of the previous round of project, we have obtained high evaluation and high honor. The implementation of new round of project shall be with great difficult, wide range, high technical content, part of them are those we are not familiar, therefore we must boost the project construction with faster speed, lower cost and better way, and make them the excellent projects which can withstand time inspection and are worthy for the later generation. Faster speed, means we should have the spirit of seize every minute, arrange works strictly according to the network construction schedule and node, carries out the responsibility with grading according to organization. Lower cost means to control engineering investment cost, on the basis of standardization, we should actively explore with bold innovation, and improve project management level under the condition of respect for science. Better way means do our best in engineering quality, the construction schedule and investment income. We should fully reference good project management experiences formed in past years, further perfect the construction of decision-making management system, and provide the guarantee for building excellent projects.
Li Xiaobo stressed: to boost key projects of transformation leaping development during "the 12th five-year plan" period, the key is people, the key is the team's spirit condition, the key is execution, cohesion and working capability. We need to build a special efficient team with endure hardships, fighting spirit and especially unity cooperation which could fully display the spirit, quality and ability of TISCO people.
