OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2011. Construction of two projects related to people's livelihood began. The projects are the new teaching building at No. 5 Primary School and the facelift of Residential Area No. 11 and 12, reported the press-centre of Jinchuan Group.
 
Facelift of Residential Area No. 11 and 12
 
The project, undertaken by The Services Company of Jinchuan Group Ltd., comprises beautification and  cementation of dirt roads.

The aim of the project is to create a more harmonious, beautiful and comfortable living environment for employees and their families. The project is also part of an effort to raise the civilization level of the city.

The project requires an investment of 13 million yuan (2 million U.S. dollars) and was scheduled for completion by the end of October. 2,000 households in 90 buildings will benefit from it.
 
Rebuilding of  teaching building at No. 5 Primary School
 
The project follows the start of the rebuilding of a teaching building at No.2 Middle School.

The new teaching building was designed by Jinchuan Nickel-Cobalt Research & Design Institute and is constructed by China Railway 25th Bureau Group Co. Ltd.

The new building, with a novel and unique design, will has a total floor space of 6,991 square meters,  3,264 square meters larger than the original one,  when completed in August.

The  building, with a price tag of 12 million yuan(1.85 million U.S. dollars),  is divided into three areas, namely, teaching area, office area and multi-function area.
