Ukraine to Reduce Price of Credits for Agrarians
OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2011. The Government significantly will increase expenses on reduction in price of credits for agrarians in 2012. In particular, credits which take for an increase of a number of cattle. It was declared by the Prime minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov during opening XXIII International agroindustrial exhibition "Agro-2011" in Kiev.
"We are ready to support peasants first in individual sector that they stored and increased a number of cattle. We are ready to allocate means that the peasant breeds the cow. We are ready and financial to support, and forages. As the economy becomes on legs, the state is accumulate financial resources", - Mykola Azarov noted.
He stressed that the basic attention of the Government should be concentrated on big volume production. In particular, there should be a purchase of elite breeds of large horned livestock, construction of farms, milk plants and the system of logistics and sale of milk and meat should be developed. "In following year we are ready to allocate significant resources for reduction in price of credits and, probably, even for the compensation, that is, we are ready work together", - the Head of the Government assured.
The Prime Minister added that the Ministry would give significant attention to progress of vegetable growing in Ukraine, in particular, to construction of vegetable storehouses. He noted that over the past 20 years has been almost completely lost industrial production of vegetables, and why the Government would take all necessary steps to remedy the situation.
"We have set the task to make so that Ukraine will be completely well-off by all necessary vegetables of own manufacture", - Mykola Azarov emphasized and added, that for this purpose the Government was going to reconstruct and construct new vegetable storehouses, to create the wholesale-retail markets of agricultural production and to develop logistics.
