OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2011. IBA participated in the seminar “Information Technologies for Insurance” dedicated to the automation of business processes at insurance companies. Organized by the Infopark scientific and technological association (Minsk, Belarus) and the Belarusian Association of Insurers, the event was held in Minsk, Belarus, for the first time, reported the press-centre of IBA.  

According to Vladimir Basko, Director General of Infopark, Belarusian IT companies can offer the insurance business a wide range of IT solutions, products and services that allow to:

Efficiently promote new insurance products and services

Effectively manage relations with customers

Safely store large volumes of information

Competently automate workflow, budgeting, business planning, and business information analysis.

Representatives of 19 insurance companies and 4 IT companies from Belarus participated in the workshop.

The seminar ended with a roundtable discussion on the development of insurance IT. Insurance specialists and IT experts participated in the discussion. The topics included efficiency of business processes automation at insurance companies, weaknesses of the insurance market, and cooperation of Infopark members and Belarusian insurers.
