OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2011. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized to pay interest on the eleventh coupon and repay 20% of the par value of Series 02 bonds of Rostelecom OJSC, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.     

The bondholders were paid coupon interest at a rate of 10.5% per annum, or 20 rubles 94kopecks per security, and 20% of the par value of the securities. In all, 142,501,462 rubles 94kopecks was paid out.

Rostelecom OJSC offered its Series 02 bonds on February 15, 2011 by converting Series 06 bonds issued by Uralsviazinform OJSC after Uralsviazinform had been taken over by Rostelecom OJSC.

Uralsviazinform OJSC issued its six-year Series 06 bonds on November 24, 2005 to raise 2billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank was the managing underwriter of the issue.
