OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2011. Motor Sich will overhaul helicopter engines for UTair (Russia), the major Russian carrier, industry source reported. The contract value is estimated at USD20 mn in 2012, reported the press-centre of Millennium Capital.

The news is POSITIVE for Motor Sich which derives ~28% of sales from MRO activities and accounts for 20% of the helicopter engine aftermarket in the FSU.

The contract is significant as it value stands at one-seventh of all MRO revenues of Motor Sich in FY10.
