OREANDA-NEWS. June 01, 2011. KAMAZ hosts a technical conference for OJSC KAMAZ and JSC Rosagroleasing, a major corporate partner of KAMAZ promoting and delivering products to customers in the country’s agricultural sector.

At first, the guests visited production facilities and joint ventures of the Russian largest truck producer. They visited the building of KAMAZ-Diesel and shops of CUMMINS KAMA JV located there, saw the main assembly line of the automobile plant, and saw an exhibition and running tests of KAMAZ vehicles in the Research-and-Development Center of OJSC KAMAZ. They also visited the training base of the KAMAZ-master team – the Centre of Motor Sport.

The plenary part of the partners’ technical conference was held in the general directorate of OJSC KAMAZ. Director General of OJSC KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin and CEO of JSC Rosagroleasing Valery Nazarov addressed the managers and leading experts of JSC Rosagroleasing. During a round-table conversation, the parties discussed various issues of their further cooperation.

Many years of cooperation between KAMAZ and Rosagroleasing prove that Russia’s auto manufacturers most successfully promote their automobile and agricultural machinery in the agricultural sector jointly with the largest centralized and specialized state-owned companies. Whereas KAMAZ provided the agricultural sector through Rosagroleasing with only 168 trucks for 123 million rubles in 2002-2003, thousands of vehicles and trailers were purchased to the sum of billions of rubles during the last four calendar years. The year of 2009 was especially successful for the partners. Then, in the midst of the global economic crisis, KAMAZ sold through Rosagroleasing 2,505 KAMAZ trucks and 2,195 trailers, which made nearly 10 percent of KAMAZ’s total annual production.
