Management Board Member – Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo said: “The construction of the Yanino transport-logistics center aims to address infrastructure problems of the Russian North-Western region’s transport system, reduce load in overloaded port territories through outsourcing some operations beyond the Saint Petersburg Big Port. Funding such infrastructure projects is one of Vnesheconombank’s main lines of activity”.
The project to construct a new logistics park outside Saint Petersburg was implemented by the Global Ports Group of Companies – a leading operator of container terminals in Russia, together with Finland’s Corporation - Container Finance Group.
The Yanino logistics park is located a kilometer and a half from Saint Petersburg’s ring motorway in the All-the-Volga district of the Leningrad region.
