OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2011. Ukraine is interested in coming to Ukraine German investors to construct efficient businesses here and creating new jobs.

The First vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economical Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuev said this at the meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Hans-Jurgen Heimsoeth.

Andriy Klyuyev and Hans-Juergen Heimsoeth have discussed the possibility of creation in the near future an Ukranian-German chamber of commerce which could take an active role in progress of cooperation between business of Ukraine and Germany

Participants also have discussed the possibility of conducting in the coming months the great Ukrainian-German business forum in which representatives of the two countries will be able to present opportunities for new investment projects.

Andriy Klyuyev and Hans-Juergen Heimsoeth agreed on that in the first half of June the meeting between the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and a group of major German companies interested in working with the Ukrainian market.

The First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and German Ambassador also discussed the progress of negotiations on the FTA between Ukraine and the European Union.

Andriy Klyuyev expressed interest in studying experience of German experts in matters of creating conditions for attracting investments, improving the power efficiency of economy and in issues of closing in to the EU. He noted the importance for Ukraine to substantially improve the investment climate.

According to him, only for April was made a half dozen laws relating to deregulation of the economy, improving the business environment. Andriy Klyuyev said that it had to put it into practice; the most important task for the Ukrainian authorities was to create conditions to minimize corruption.
