OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2011. In May, the Corporate Management Company of the Machinery & Industrial Group "Concern Tractor Plants" is celebrating its fifth Anniversary. For this rather short time period the founders of Holding - Mr Michael Bolotin and Mr Albert Bakov have managed to create one of the most powerful integrators of scientific & technical, production & engineering resources in the machine-building branch, both in Russia and in CIS countries, reported the press-centre of Tractor Plants.    

Today, "Tractor Plants" is one of few companies operating in the industrial sector of Russian Federation, having a full-scale and long-term Program of Innovative Development & Technological Upgrading. In spite of hard economic depression recently experienced by the country, the Holding enterprises never stopped implementation of their long-range R & D programs.

The availability of their own design & development departments, as well as full-scale implementation of the most up-to-date technologies in combination with modern approaches to assimilation of new products, allowed the Holding for the last three years to develop more the 30 basic models of up-to-date machines, make the production lots of those machines and also manufacture several lots of new OEM components.

All the product lines regarding main business activity fields of the Group are practically complete and are not inferior in every respect to be compared with the worlds similar products.

The product portfolio created by "Tractor Plants" company for a time period of 5 years is made up of more than hundred models of self-propelled machines, dozens of types of the attached & towing implements, several thousands of types of spare parts & components (including OEM components).

The vertically-integrated production model created by Mr Bolotin and Mr Bakov allows  Machinery & Industrial Group to provide for a full life-cycle of the manufactured products - from R & D and experimental-design work, machine & spare parts production up to marketing & sale operations, after-sale technical service and customer support through a specially created Common Service Centre.

The innovative technologies used in the production process, allow the biggest Russian manufacturer to ensure on continuing basis the delivery of spare parts & components for such world-known companies as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Iveco, AGCO, Mercedes, BASA and others.

Concern "Tractor Plants" was one of the first companies to install on their machines under  trademarks "CHETRA" and "AGROMASH" Russian navigation system GLONASS/GPS.

During the operation period, Russian "Full-Liner" managed to set up one of the largest in the country dealers network composed of 136 companies-partners and more than 50 specialized centers. This allows the Holding enterprises, when solving very important task regarding substitution of the imported equipment, to respond with a high flexibility to current needs of the market and to hold leading positions in all the main fields of their business activity: Industrial, Agricultural and Railway Engineering.

Since 2007 the Holding Management Company started to introduce into managing business-processes the innovative IT-technologies both of leading domestic and foreign manufacturers.

This allowed the top-management of the Machinery & Industrial Group to achieve a high efficiency & quality of business-process management. "Tractor Plants" company rightfully could be called a pioneer in Russia to "switch over" to the paperless office work. Besides, the machine-builders team in their work routine actively makes use of  video-conference communication facilities.

In February, this year, the top-management of the Machinery & Industrial Group announced the starting of a large-scale robotization of their production facilities and signed a Frame Agreement with a subsidiary company of one of the world leaders in manufacturing the "intelligent" machines" - Japanese company "FANUC".

By the results of independent rating "Industrial elite of Russia - 100 Best Production Managers, 2011" the Head of Concern "Tractor Plants" Mr Michael Bolotin (8-th position in the rating) entered the "TOP-10" and has been recognized one of ten best production managers in Russia along with Oleg Deripaska (1), Serghei Chemezov (2), Serghei Kogoghin (3), Serghei Obozov (4), Alexei Mordashev (5), Michael Pogosian (7), Vladimir Yakunin (9) and Ravil Zaripov (10).

The above rating is a non-commercial project of portal "Production Management", it has been conducted for the first time and is in fact rather unique event of the kind in Russia.
