OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established territorial authorities of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection. This was announced by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services Viktor Tyhonov. Territorial authorities of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection, as it was said, created in all regions and in Crimea and the cities Kyiv and Sevastopol.

According to the official, newly created authorities are the successors of the territorial bodies of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection – the government body that was operated under the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, territorial bodies of State housing and communal services inspection - the government body that operated under the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, concerning a state architectural and construction control and control in a field of housing and communal services.

Viktor Tyhonov said that territorial authorities that were eliminated still continue to do their work till transfer such responsibility to territorial authorities, which are forming.

Reference. In accordance to paragraph 6 of the Regulations of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection of Ukraine approved by the Decree of President of Ukraine dated 08.04.2011 № 439 the State Architectural and Construction Inspection of Ukraine responsible for control through its territorial bodies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Kyiv and Sevastopol or interregional (their powers are distributed to multiple regions) territorial authorities.
