OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2011. Investment company Grawe Carat Asigurari made in 2010, more than 124 million lei, up from the previous year by 11,2%. According to the company, the amount of gross premiums, signed last year Grawe Carat Asigurari, amounted to 104.7 million lei, by 25.7% over the previous year.

At the same time, the share of life insurance accounted for almost half of written premiums (47%). At the same time last year, the insurance company pay increased by 18% compared with 2009 and amounted to 22.6 million lei. Liquidity ratio was 6.1. Total assets Grawe Carat Asigurari at the end of 2010 amounted to 210 million lei, or 23% more than in 2009, technical reserves amounted to 124 million lei (36% more than in 2009).

The company notes that last year was difficult for the entire insurance market, however, Grawe Carat Asigurari was able to withstand difficult conditions and to maintain positive momentum. At year-end Grawe Carat Asigurari ranks third in the insurance market of Moldova, thus, is the undisputed leader in the life insurance segment (occupying 91.5% of the areas of insurance).
