OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2011.  Specialists of Atomenergoproekt, which is the chief architect of Turkey’s first nuclear power plant Akkuyu, have started a new stage of priority engineering surveys on the site of the would-be plant.

The company May 23 said the specialists started building a geodetic control network on the site.

This work is planned to complete by mid June and then full-scale integrated surveys under control of Russian specialists will commence.
