Fujitsu to Showcase New Microcontrollers, Buck Boost DC/DC Converters
OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2011. Fujitsu Semiconductor America (FSA) will feature an innovative set of microcontroller (MCU), power management IC, and Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) products at the Embedded Systems Conference Brazil 2011, May 24-25, at the Novotel Center Norte in Sao Paulo.
At booth 44, Fujitsu will showcase leading-edge products, including its proven and popular FM3 family of 32-bit MCUs. These 96 general-purpose microcontrollers, which feature the ARM Cortex-M3TM processor, meet a wide range of system design needs. Fujitsu also will show its 8-bit family of F2MC-8FX MCUs, flexible and highly functional microcontrollers based on a proprietary core. These low-pin-count MCUs are popular in small-scale, low-cost applications such as home appliances, electrical tools, consumer healthcare products and car accessories.
Other booth highlights include FRAM products based on a revolutionary memory technology that combines the benefits of conventional non-volatile memories and RAM; and the newly introduced 6MHz Synchronous Buck Boost DC/DC converter, the industry's first converter to run at 6MHz, which significantly reduces board space and enhances efficiency.
