OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2011. Vagit Alekperov, JSC  LUKOIL President, and Aslan Sarinzhipov, Chairman of the Executive Council of AO Nazarbayev University, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Astana today.

According to the document, the parties will implement sponsorship and charitable programs aimed at the development of education, health care system, and research activities.

The parties will also develop a joint scholarship program to encourage the best students, arrange further training of teachers, and promote the research and development projects of the university.
