With the presence of 12 academicians and 200 experts and scholars from Chinese Academy of Sciences and Engineering, CNPC officially released its next generation logging software CIFLog as a symbolic achievement of state key oil & gas projects, reported the press-centre of CNPC.

CIFLog, world's first 3rd-generation logging process & interpretation system based on Java-NetBeans leading edge computer technologies, is the first such system that able to run efficiently under three major operating systems namely Windows, Linux and Unix.

It is also the first integrated software that provides systematic evaluation measures for complex reservoirs, and incorporates full-series open-hole logging evaluation and cement bond logging evaluation.
