OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2011. Now, customers of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) may receive money from an ATM without a card, reported the press-centre of IBA.

The “APA-ECONOMICS” report says that with the help of the new service of the International Bank any person who has a plastic card can send money to other persons residing anywhere in the country. An interesting fact is that the money transfer is carried out through a special code and it is not necessary for the person receiving the money from an ATM to have a card on him.

Under the rules of transferring money in this way, a person, who wishes to send money and who is a client, shall enter a plastic card in an ATM, choose the desired language and enter his PIN-code. Then it is necessary to select the “Cash by Code” item in the menu, next click "Send Money", then enter the number of recipient’s mobile phone. Then choose the currency and the amount.

At this time, the system creates a code consisting of two parts. The first part of the code is printed out on the check and is retained by the remitter. The second part of the code is sent to the recipient's mobile phone number as SMS. In order to obtain the cash it is required to enter both parts of the code. The code is valid for 24 hours.

The recipient, approaching the ATM, shall choose the “Cash by Code” item and the desired language. Next, the recipient shall enter both parts of code and the amount to be received, after which the ATM gives out money.

As IBA reports, the clients of the “International Bank of Azerbaijan - Moscow "can also use this service. The IBA’s clients using this system can transfer money to any city in Azerbaijan, as well as in Russia, and vice versa.
