OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2011. The meeting with representatives of delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany led by the president of a German-Turkmen forum mister Klaus-Jurgen Hedrich took place in Mejlis.

During a meeting visitors got acquainted with the basic aspects of activity of national parliament, realized in the country at the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of legal reform. As it was underlined, the friendship which has developed between Turkmenistan and Germany, allows increasing successfully multifaceted partnership.

The issues of further intensification of the Turkmen-German relations were considered and during negotiations taking place today in the government and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs with the members of representative delegation of Germany.

During meetings the exchange of opinions concerning the state and prospects of mutual relations took place. Marking fruitful character of the interstate communications based on principles of equality and mutual benefit, participants of the meeting supported expansion of the Turkmen-German partnership.

In the number of priority directions trade and economic, fuel and energy, transport-communication sectors, health protection, environment protection, tourism, and also scientifically-educational sphere were adopted.
