OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2011. Deloitte is one of the largest companies that provides consulting services to leading companies in the world. The research of audit and consulting company Deloitte, which covered 18 states in the region, is based on the criterion of gross receipt of Central and Eastern Europe on results of 2009. The grouping of companies was made on the branch principle. Income was calculated in Euros for the corresponding average rate for 2008, 2009 and the first quarter of 2010.

Our country is represented in the TOP-500 ranking of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe, by 39 companies, 13 companies less than last year. Thus, Ukraine has reduced presence in the top-500 of Deloitte ranking to 8%. Last year, Ukrainian companies held 10.4% in terms of number of companies and 11% in the context of total income.

Analysis of financial results of the companies in 2009 indicates that the decline affected all, without exception, countries of Central and Eastern European and the majority of the industries. According to Deloitte experts Ukrainian companies experienced crisis year 2009 very hard, but at the same time today they show above the average growth. It is also noted that the level of foreign investment in our country is still at a low level, which is the reflection of still untapped potential of Ukrainian economy.

“NIBULON” took the 192nd place in this ranking, thus overtaking the rest of the agricultural enterprises of Ukraine: “Kernel” (211 place), “Myronivs’kyy hliboproduct” (342 place), “Cargill” (414 place), “Suntrade” (415 place), “Serna” (461 place). It should be noted that “NIBULON” enters into the TOP-500 of Deloitte ranking of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe not for the first time.

A good result that “NIBULON” showed, based on the amount of revenue gross in 2009 - the first quarter of 2010, is quite predictable. After all, this period witnessed the vigorous activity of the company both in the international market (in 2009/2010 MY “NIBULON” exported a record 4.8 million tons of grain) and in the field of investment. It was in 2009, despite the financial crisis and a general decline in production, a unique project on the revival of river logistics in Ukraine of the company was started.

At present, eight elevators and transshipment terminals in Poltava, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhya and Mykolayiv regions were put into operation by “NIBULON” within its investment program. Own river fleet of the company includes 24 non-self-propelled vessel and three tugs. Today the construction of six tugboats is in full swing at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”.
