Rosmorport Took Part in International Exhibition
OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2011. FSUE “Rosmorport” as part of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation delegation took part in transport logistic 2011 international exhibition in Munich, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.
The FSUE “Rosmorport” stand was included into the Ministry of Transport of Russia exposition of 300 sq m total area. Special attention was paid to the enterprise infrastructure projects. Virtual tour of the most prospective project — the construction of dry bulk region in the seaport of Taman — was exhibited.
The project implementation will cover the growing deficit of port capacities in Azov-Black sea region of Russia as well as attract Russian cargo being transshipped now in the Ukrainian seaports due to more efficient logistics.
The project supposes the construction of several specialized transshipping terminals of 66,5 million tons per year total capacity. The project will be funded from the federal budget and private investors. Overall investments volume will make up about 83 billion rubles.
The first stage of the construction is planned to be started in the end of 2012, with commissioning in 2015.
Transport logistics is the world’s largest trade fair for logistics and mobility. “Responding to logistics challenges” was the motto for the exhibition in 2011. Marine and river transport sector had especially wide representation this year — nearly all European marine logistics chains and seaports were among exhibitors.
