In particular, 9 Kalmar fork-lift trucks with lifting capacity from 10 to 33 tons for handling of general cargoes, terminal tractor for transportation of cargoes up to 32 tons on roll-trailers and 40-feet roll-trailer of 70 tons capacity were delivered to the terminals of the group in the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg.

In the first quarter of 2011 the contract for delivery of Liebherr self-propelled rubber-tyred cranes LHM 600, was awarded. These cranes are suitable for handling of loose cargoes and heavy-lifts with the total weight up to 144 tons. Cranes will be delivered to the berths of the second cargo area of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” in the fourth quarter of 2011.

2 grab-manipulators Atlas 350MH were delivered for Multipurpose Reloading Complex in the Port of Ust-Luga. This equipment is suitable for handling of loose and bulk cargoes. 2 Komatsu bucket lift-trucks for handling of loose cargoes with weight up to 6 tons and Kalmar fork lift-truck of 10 tons capacity for handling of scrap metal were also delivered for Multipurpose Reloading Complex.

New equipment will allow to increase the efficiency of handling the cargoes and decrease the costs for technical maintenance and repairs of handling equipment.
