OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2011. At the meeting of shareholders of the Kyiv Factory of Sparkling Wines "Stolichny" CJSC, a decision was taken to rename the company into a Public Joint Stock Company. This name change has been effected in the framework of the Law of Ukraine "On Making Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Joint Stock Companies” dated February 3, 2011, as to the improvement of mechanisms of joint stock companies' activities. Henceforth, in accordance to the statutory documents, the new full company’s name in Ukrainian shall be: Публічне Акціонерне товариство "Київський завод шампанських вин "Столичний" (ПАТ "КЗШВ "Столичний"); in Russian:  Публичное акционерное общество "Киевский завод шампанских вин "Столичный" (ПАТ "КЗШВ "Столичный"). We would like to recall that since 2007, the main shareholder of the KZShV “Stolichny” is a German company Henkell&Co. Gruppe that owns enterprises for production of sparkling wines in 9 European countries.
