OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2011. Ukraine proposes Belarus to create a joint innovation centre. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told this in Belarus during his meeting with the Prime Minister Mikhailo Myasnikovych.

"The Russians have created Skolkovo and we and you have less money, but let’s create a joint innovation centre on a parity basis", - Mykola Azarov said.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed that development of science in Ukraine and Belarus is rather high, but, according to him it should be commercialized to science began to work on the market and for the people.

Moreover, Mykola Azarov stressed that Ukraine is interested in cooperation in the exploration and exploitation of mineral deposits.
