OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2011. The first floatel will soon open in Belarus. The Pinsk shipbuilding factory has just completed the implementation of this unique project and handed it over to the customer, the Turovshchina Company.

 The floating hotel is to be delivered soon to its destination point in Turov when it is expected to open its doors to its first guests.

 This is the first hotel of the kind built in Belarus. The project was implemented with the use of the latest technologies and equipment. The floatel secures comfort stay to its passengers, do not harm environment and meet all ecological requirements.

 The floatel that operates as a single set with the Pripyat motor vessel has 10 cabins that might accommodate up to 30 people. The floatel can make 10-day-long cruises, the official said.

 Viktor Brutsky expressed confidence that the floating hotel would be very popular among tourists and would boost the opening of other floatels in the country.

 The Pinsk shipbuilding factory constructs and repairs vessels as well as engines, produces and maintains ferries and pontoon bridges. The company also produces construction metalwork, reservoirs for different purposes, water-towers, rubber goods, pontoons for rowing canals.
