OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2011. The gasoline sales volume in Moldova in I quarter 2011 has made about 36,2 thousand ton, having reduced to 4,9 % in comparison with the same period of 2010.

According to National agency on regulation in power, this tendency shows increase of demand for cheaper fuel, in particular, on diesel fuel and liquified gas which is almost twice cheaper , in comparison with gasoline.

So, in particular, in January-March, 2011 the volume of retails of diesel fuel and liquified gas has increased in comparison with the I quarter 2010, by 15,3 % and 23,4 %, accordingly, and has made 45,6 thousand and 11,4 thousand tons, accordingly.
