OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2011. Novaya Era OJSC awarded the contracts for production and supply of electric equipment for three more Russian nuclear plants.

After these projects’ realization it would be possible to say with certainty that the equipment of Novaya Era OJSC has been successfully working at 9 of 10 operating NPPs of our country.

 At present Novaya Era OJSC performs realization of the contracts for production and supply of switch equipment for Novovoronezh, Kola and Smolensk NPPs.

 In order to provide the start-up of Novovoronezh NPP power unit No. 5, the enterprise shipped local cabinet pursuant to “Equipment of the B-1, B-8/1.2.3 Boric Acid Container with a Heating System” event (classified as “4H)”, upon completion of the modernization works within the framework of the service life prolongation.

 At present the production of local control rooms is coming to an end on the following events:
 •“Connection of the URAN-V Room Conditioning E303 System”,
 •“Development of SAE-2 for SNE VB”,
 •“Modernization of Local Control Rooms and Service Equipment Management”.

 All the equipment is produced within the shortest time periods, considering emergency and importance of the modernization works at the power unit.

 For Kola NPP, Novaya Era OJSC produces RZiA non-type cabinets, safety class according to OPB being 88/97 – 3H, the tender for the supply of which was won in the beginning of 2011.

 Besides, at present a connection cabinet of RTZO-88M series for the needs of Beloyarsk NPP has been put into production – this is the enterprise’s first experience of order realization for that nuclear power plant.

 Within the framework of longstanding collaboration with Orion SKB CJSC, at present the works on production of a complex system of control, management and protection, series 550, are being held for Smolensk NPP.
