OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2011. In the month of April 2011, the revenue earning freight traffic carried by Indian Railways was 77.52 million tonnes.

There is an increase of 5.35 million tonnes over the freight traffic of 72.17 million tonnes actually carried by the Indian Railways during the same period last year, reflecting an increase of 7.41 per cent.
