OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is considering a petition of “Delightful Hill Enterprises Limited” (British Virgin Islands) about acquiring the rights that allow determining the conditions of entrepreneurial activities of “Arcticheskie Razrabotki” Ltd., reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Governed by Part 3 Article 33 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” and in order to ensure complete and comprehensive analysis of the transaction in question and to evaluate its impact upon the state of competition on all relevant markets of the Russian Federation, FAS Russia asks all interested persons to present their opinions or provide materials that can be important for making the final decision.

“Arcticheskie Razrabotki” Ltd. has a license for geological survey, exploration and production of mineral coal and methane on the Apsatsky field in the Zabaikalie region. According to the license agreement, known reserves of coking coal (grades Zh, К, КО, КS, ОS) reach 485.2 million tons under categories S1+S2 and R1.
