OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2011. Within four months of this year the number of registered individual entrepreneurs are 2 million 449 thousands. The chairman of State Tax Service of Ukraine Vitaliy Zakharchenko said this during the press conference.

The number of individual taxpayers of the uniform tax virtually unchanged compared with last year - almost 950 thousand people. Last year there were 1021 persons.

The number of fixed tax payers is 238 thousand 306 thousand people in 2011 against the corresponding period last year.

However, according to Vitaliy Zaharchenko the number of individuals - entrepreneurs on a common system of taxation has increased for 163 thousand since the beginning of the year.

"The general system of taxation are 1 million 260 thousand individual entrepreneurs. This suggests that entrepreneurs, who worked on the single and fixed tax, have re-registered to a common system of taxation. So to talk about reducing the number of entrepreneurs is appropriate".
