On May 16, 2011, in accordance with the Terms of Issuing, Placing and Repaying the 1996 OVGVZ Bonds approved by Resolution of the Russian Government dated 04.03.1996 №229, Vnesheconombank acting as the general paying agent for the Russian Finance Ministry repaid OVGVZ bonds of the 7th tranche in the amount of 1.75 billion US dollars.
