OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2011. Roman Khrushch, the General Manager of Concern Khlibprom PJSC has entered the Top-100. The Best Top Managers of Ukraine authoritative rating and took the third place among the best top managers engaged in bread baking.

The annual rating of the top managers was published on April 18 by the Ekonomika publishing house. The results of the Top-100 were obtained due to an expert survey of the top managers on their colleagues-competitors. As it was mentioned by the compilers of the rating, the most authoritative managers of the companies whose innovation allows for creating and implementing a clear company development strategy and conducting an effective manpower and social policy entered the rating.

Roman Khrushch filled the position of General Manager of Concern Khlibprom PJSC in 2008. The Manager developed a business strategy envisaging structural changes and innovative approaches even in time of financial crisis.

A restructuring of 12 affiliated concern companies took place in minimum possible time during just one year under the guidance of Mr. Khrushch by means of consolidating their transactions into a single legal entity.

In 2010 the Concern led by Mr. Khrushch launched a fully automated bakery of semi-finished products which was unique in Ukraine. USD 12 millions was invested to implement the first project stage partially consisting of funds of the International Finance Corporation, a division of the World Bank. In September, 2010 Concern Khlibprom PJSC introduced and certified, being a pioneer in the industry, Food Safety Management System at the plant according to the HACCP principles and ISO 22000:2005 requirements.

The company under the charge of the active manager approached foreign markets and established cooperation consisting in supply of semi-finished bakery products to the EU, CIS and USA.

Concern Khlibprom PJSC placed bonds in 2010 to the amount of UAH 50 million being one of the first corporate bond allocations in Ukraine since the beginning of the crunch.

Roman Khrushch, born in 1980, graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv majoring in Finance and Credit. He is getting a doctorate in economic sciences. In 2011 he was awarded a diploma of Master of Business Administration University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has been employed at the Concern Khlibprom PJSC since the day it has been founded.
