Uralkali Will Keep Prices Unchanged for Russian Agriproducers in 2H
OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2011. Pursuant to the terms and conditions of the agreement between the Russian Association of Fertiliser Producers and the Agri-industrial Union of Russia (“the Agreement”), Uralkali announces the ceiling price for its potash fertilisers to be supplied directly to Russian agricultural producers in the second half of 2011.
In accordance with the terms of the Agreement and the Marketing Policy of the Company agreed with the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service, Uralkali will keep its price at the same level as in the first half of 2011 for muriate of potash (MOP) intended for Russian agricultural producers, namely 4,250 rubles per tonne (FCA, exclusive of VAT, exclusive of packaging).
The price for MOP to be supplied directly to Russian agricultural producers has remained unchanged since March 2010 despite the continuous growth of world potash prices. In

Uralkali adheres to its policy of supporting Russian agriculture by setting reduced prices for agricultural producers. Moreover, the Company’s Marketing Policy provides premiums for the Russian producers of complex fertilisers thus stimulating them to supply more products to Russian agricultural producers.
