OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2011. It was said by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valerii Lazar at the meeting with the Kiev-resided Japanese Ambassador to Moldova, according to the Moldovan Ministry of Economy.

Valerii Lazar emphasized that Chisinau is first of all interested in promoting red wines in the Japanese market, as they may be useful in overcoming Fukushima nuclear accident aftermath.

It was reported earlier, that the country’s wineries had supplied red wine as humanitarian aid to Japan. Particularly, only the Lion Gri company delivered two containers with 28 thousand bottles of red wines to Japan.
