OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2011. An annual meeting of heads of export-credit agencies in the G11 format organized by France’s Ministry of Economics, Finance and Industry jointly with the French Insurance Company for Foreign Trade Coface was held in the city of Marseilles on May 11-12, 2007. Management Board Member, Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo took part in the meeting.

In the course of the meeting its participants discussed specific issues related to practical activities of export-credit agencies in insuring export credits and investments, promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation as well as global themes dealing with the state of credit markets and prospects for their development of the said group of states, new regulation principles based on Basel 3 standards and etc.

An important theme was a presentation of a large-scale conference on export financing in the G20 format to be held in Paris on June 27, 2011. The conference was organized by France’s Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry. Vnesheconombank was invited to participate in this conference together with the Russian Economic Development Ministry and the Russian Finance Ministry.
