OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2011. Owing to the new route’s launch Russia’s southern industrial centers, popular Black Sea resorts of Sochi, Gelendzhik and Anapa, tourist attractions on the shore of the Sea of Azov as well as cities of North Caucasus will become more available for AeroSvit’s passengers.

Passengers from Ukraine’s regional centers – Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Odesa, Sevastopol, Simferopol and Kharkiv – will be able to use flights to Krasnodar via Boryspil (Kyiv), AeroSvit’s base airport.

Besides that, in Kyiv flights to Krasnodar will be connected with other AeroSvit’s international flights, in particular those from Budapest, Sophia, Athens, Bucharest, Tel Aviv, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Vilnius, Almaty, Astana, Kostanay, Tbilisi, Yerevan and Tashkent.

Krasnodar is the seventh Russian city to which AeroSvit is performing flights, thus confirming its status as the largest air carrier between Russia and Ukraine. AeroSvit performs its own scheduled flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk (from April 23rd), Nizhnevartovsk, and – jointly with Donavia (Russian airline) – operates on Kyiv – Rostov-on-Don route.

Flight frequency increase and flights schedule after introduction of all frequencies on Kyiv-Krasnodar route

From May 2nd AeroSvit performs flights to Krasnodar on Mondays, starting from May 11th Wednesday flights and from June 5th Sunday flights will be added.

On all of the aforesaid days, flights from Kyiv will depart at 2:15 p.m., the return flights - at 6:15 p.m. local time. Expected duration of flights between the two cities is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
