OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2011. Presentations of the Russian Technologies State Corporation were held in Madrid within the framework of the business program of the exhibition “Scientific, Technical and Innovative Achievements of Russia” dedicated to the Year of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Spain and the Year of Spain in the Russian Federation. Following the presentations Indra, leading Spanish Information Technologies and Defense Systems company, showed great interest in developing cooperation with a number of enterprises of the Russian Technologies State Corporation such as Sirius Concern OJSC, Ruselectronics holding, OJSC Prominvest, OJSC “VO “Technopromexport” and Rosoboronexport.

The exhibition is held from May 12 to May 15 for the purpose of the extension of the investment cooperation of Russia and Spain. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation under the auspices of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and other Russian agencies.

A number of enterprises of the Russian Technologies State Corporation is taking part in the exhibition: Rosoboronexport, the holdings Russian Helicopters and Ruselectronics, Sirius Concern OJSC. JSC AVTOVAZ presented full-scale specimens of the automobiles Priora and Niva.

Presentations of the Russian Technologies State Corporation became one of the key events of the exhibition. The State Corporation was introduced to the business community of Spain by Deputy Director General Dmitry Shugaev.

The purpose of presentations which encompassed a wide range of the activities of the Russian Technologies State Corporation consisted in introducing the comprehensive potential of the State Corporation to prospective Spanish partners, establishment and development of promising contacts, as well as extension of international cooperation, primarily in the high-technology area.

Among the Spanish participants presentations were executives of a number of leading companies who familiarized themselves with the position, importance and the role of the Russian Technologies State Corporation in the economy of modern Russia, got detailed information on the technological capabilities and capabilities for cooperation of the enterprises forming parts of the State Corporation.

The participants presentations familiarized themselves with the structure, purposes and objectives of the State Corporation, examples of successful cooperation with the leading European companies active on the Russian market.

A number of promising projects of the enterprises of the Russian Technologies State Corporation was presented, the multi-faceted nature of its areas of business was illustrated, as well as the great possibilities for international cooperation.

Certain specific proposals on the cooperation of the enterprises of the Corporation with Spanish companies were sounded at the presentations. Thus, Sirius Concern OJSC is interested in cooperation with Spanish companies in the field of development and implementation of security systems and distributed information systems (including the cooperation with the Spanish company Indra), as well as in the placement of orders for the manufacture of electronic components in Russia.

The Ruselectronics holding which is systemically important for the Russian electronics industry is focused on the search of opportunities for cooperation in such promising areas as the use of renewable energy resources, manufacture of energy-efficient lighting devices.

The holding Russian Helicopters is interested in supplying to the Spanish market the multipurpose helicopter Ka-32A11VS which well-known in the Iberian Peninsula and has demonstrated excellent results fire-fighting. The biggest Russian developer and supplier of mobile services on the basis of the 4G technology, “Skartel” (the “Yota” brand), offers cooperation in creating an IT-platform for 4G networks, development of services and user-specific devices, consolidation of equipment procurement.

Besides, such enterprises of the Russian Technologies State Corporation, as JSC AVTOVAZ, holding RT-Biotechprom, OJSC RT-Chemical Technologies and Composite Materials, JSC Aircraft Engineering Concern, OJSC Prominvest, OJSC “VO “Technopromexport” have a considerable potential for the development of cooperation with Spanish companies.

In the context of possible lines of bilateral cooperation the attention of the participants and visitors was drawn to the projects for creating industrial production special economic zones with the participation of the State Corporation (“Tolyatti” in Samara Oblast, as well as the Titanium Valley on the basis of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation in the Urals).

Considering the fact that Spain has been a long-time economic partner of Russia, presentations of the Russian Technologies State Corporation in Madrid will enable to further stimulate the demand for the products of the organization of the State Corporation and to create new vectors of cooperation in the area of high technology and innovations with the leading Spanish companies.
