OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2011. The Government at its session on May 11 approved the regulation "On signing the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Russian Federation on cooperation in plant quarantine”. To sign the Agreement authorized the Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Prisyazhnyuk.

The adoption of the regulation allows bringing into accord the text of the Agreement with the national legislation of contracting parties, and facilitating implementation of state policy to further mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of plant quarantine.

Signing of the bilateral agreement will provide mutual exchange of information, documentation, results of the achievements of phytosanitary both technical and strategic level, strengthen comprehensive cooperation between countries in the field of plant quarantine on the principles of sovereign equality, mutual respect and mutual benefit.
