OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2011. The Cbonds Agency has published a series of rankings of investment banks based on their performance in the first quarter of 2011. Sviaz-Bank holds firmly to its ranking among the Top10 leading bond issue managing underwriters and underwriters, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

With a total underwriting quota of 7.4 billion rubles, the Bank placed eighth among market issue managing underwriters. The Bank is also eighth in the rankings of managing underwriters of bond issues in the corporate sector. It rose one notch up, to seventh place, among investment banks managing bond issues denominated in rubles in the corporate sector (minus banks and financial institutions).

The Bank’s total underwriting quota of 7.5 billion rubles pushed it up to sixth place among leading bond debt underwriters on the domestic market and underwriters in the corporate sector.

The Cbonds Agency’s rankings of managing underwriters and underwriters show investment banks’ activity in the primary bond market in terms of bond offering volumes and number of issues offered, giving consideration only to issues to be offered to a large number of investors.
