Veterans of the Great Patriotic War opening a Pension Plus deposit account can now look forward to 1% more interest, guaranteeing them a return of up to 9.5% on their investments. Between May 1 and May 31, any pensioner who chooses to start a Uniastrum Pension Plus deposit account will automatically receive a box of chocolates as a welcoming gift. The minimum deposit is just Rb 5,000 and can be placed with the Bank for either 6 months or 1 year. Depending on how much is deposited and the deposit period, interest is compounded or accrued monthly on the basis of additional payments into the account at an annualized rate of 7% to 8.5%, reported the press-centre of Uniastrum Bank.

The account may be added to at any time up to the maximum deposit amount. For extra customer convenience, add-ons can also be made not just using standard deposit facilities, but also by electronic transfer from pension funds. Pension Plus also allows for partial withdrawals as long as the minimum balance is maintained. At maturity, the deposit period is extended automatically unless the customer wishes otherwise. All persons opening a Uniastrum deposit are guaranteed a check card as part of the Bank’s U-Pay Deposit program.
