OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2011. Customers can use Skype to discuss the Bank’s many products and services one-to-one with Bank specialists, and contact Uniastrum’s 24-hour Helpdesk or other departments from literally anywhere in the world, reported the press-centre of Uniastrum Bank.

Anyone wishing to contact Uniastrum via Skype simply needs to find the Bank’s identifier name Uniastrum_msk in the Skype user directory. After hearing the voice menu, the customer can either choose to wait for the operator to reply or switch directly to the service he/she wants by following the instructions given in the voice menu and clicking on the add contacts list on the Skype options panel.

The main benefit from direct contacting Uniastrum using Skype is that it enables customers to communicate with the Bank from any location worldwide. Needless to say, confidentiality and information security are guaranteed at all times. Uniastrum clients away on vacation or business, for example, can now use Skype to get in touch with the Bank and receive an update on their credit card balance, details of card transactions, block lost or stolen cards, as well find out the location of the nearest Uniastrum outlets, ATMs, payment kiosks, etc. Another bonus is that calling via Skype is cheaper than making a direct long-distance or international call.

Skype is an increasingly popular way for users to make voice and video calls over the Internet, thanks, first and foremost, to the low costs involved, high quality, and the high level of information protection and security.

“Ensuring that we continue to offer ultimate customer convenience entails an ongoing commitment to providing new banking solutions, including the use of popular online services,” says Margarita Gerasimova, Uniastrum’s Vice President of Marketing. “One of our Bank’s top priorities has been and remains its strong customer focus, which means harnessing the very latest in modern technologies and complying with the very highest banking standards for reliability and security.”
