OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2011. Joint Azerbaijani- Turkish insurance company Basak-Inam Sigorta Sirketi for the first time provided a policy for travel insurance that envisages covering 10 types of insurance cases.

The report says that the company has presented new type of travel insurance for Extreme show participants to be broadcast on TV. The policy of travel insurance is a new type and granted to cover 10 types of insurance cases. New insurance package has been developed on the basis of the company’s agreement with one of the world’s largest assistant companies CORIS INTERNATIONAL and provided for Extreme show participants. The show’s technical personnel has been insured on travel insurance for 30.000 euro and against accidents for 50.000 euro.

The company has also provided medical check up and immunization to the show participants. Besides the company gave the participants an accident insurance which implies insurance in case of death and lifelong insurance against disability. The insurance policies were granted to participants and personnel before departure for Namibia.

Basak Inam Sigorta Sirketi’s shareholder is Turkish company Groupama Sigorta AЄ. Joint insurance company Basak-Inam operating since 1996 provides 29 types of insurance services. The company’s equity capital is AZN 3.37 million.
