OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2011. The holiday trips season is coming, and with it an increased amount of passenger traffic. The management of Moscow Domodedovo Airport has met with representatives of Border Control, Customs and Traffic Police to discuss the work strategies for this busy period.

During the meeting the representatives discussed the most efficient schemes for use of resources of all the participating services in order to ensure transport safety and convenience of travel and airport services.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest Russian airport servicing 44% of Moscow air-passenger traffic. In 2010 its services were used by 22.3 million passengers. More than 70 Russian and overseas airlines work in partnership with Domodedovo which has been selected as its Moscow base by the leading international aviation alliances such as Star Alliance, oneworld and SkyTeam.
