OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2011. Zhu Jimin, Chairman of the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) and Chairman of Shougang Group, conducted an inspection visit to the Gas Company of Liupanshui Shuicheng Iron & Steel (Group) Company of WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. (WISDRI), reported the press-centre of MCC.

The senior management of Shuicheng Steel accompanied Zhu during the visit.
The Project Chief of the Gas Works gave a brief introduction to Zhu Jimin. At the early of 2011, Shuicheng witnessed a long period of low temperature and freezing conditions, which lasted as long as 31 days.

The people of the Gas Works conquered all the difficulties and achieved in production of oxygen within the time stipulated in the contract and even ahead of the schedule. Hearing of this, Zhu Jimin gave full recognition on the perfect performance. Zhu spoke highly of WISDRI as an enterprise abiding by the contract and keeping promises. He also pointed out that, the oxygen generation unit (15000Nm3/h) was an essential part for the development target (5 million tons per annum) of Shuicheng Steel and must be put into operation as soon as possible.

Afterwards Zhu Jimin inquired about the achievements made by WISDRI in the business fields other than the engineering design and EPC contracting, as well as the information on the New Materials Company of WISDRI. At the conclusion, Zhu place a high premium on the outstanding strength of WISDRI.

In view of the current progress of the project, the Gas Works is anticipated to be put into oxygen production at the early of May 2012.
