The International Bank of Azerbaijan has introduced many technological solutions that ensure the provision of banking services to customers at a higher level to ensure adequate reliability, customer convenience during those or other banking operations, as well as quick and efficient service. Thanks to this approach to work the number of operations related to payment by the credit card for utilities, services, fixed and mobile telecommunications, television and Internet service providers, as well as wire transfers and deposits, has significantly increased in recent years. The number of the InternetBank and MobileBank service users is also increasing, reported the press-centre of IBA.

So, if in 2009 through all channels of electronic banking 498.6 thousand transactions amounting to 13.6 million mantas were carried out, in 2010 the figures were respectively 567,000 transactions amounting to 19,2 million manats. In total, during the period from 2007 to 2010 there were more than 1.7 million e-banking transactions worth about 46 million manats.

The InternetBank service provided by the International Bank of Azerbaijan for individuals: with the help of this service the bank customers can manage in real-time mode their credit card account and perform the following operations:

- Check the balance of their credit card account; - create reports on the operations of the credit card account;

- To pay for utilities (electricity);


- To pay the insurance premiums (the International Insurance Company);

- To pay for the international and long distance telephone calls (Aztelekom, AzEvroTel);

- To pay for the use of mobile telephones (Azercell, Bakcell (only Gold and Class subscribers), NARmobile, Azerfone-Vodafone);

- To pay for the internet services (Azeronline, Adanet, Connect, Elcell);

- Carry out transfers between the card accounts using the KartTransfer service;

- to open a fixed deposit ("Electronic Deposit");

- To pay for travel services (SW Travel).

Using this system does not require additional software and any web browser will be sufficient to use the system.

The InternetBank system is securely protected: All information transmitted is encrypted in the "Internet Banking” system. When working in the system one-time passwords are used, they are valid for only one session in the "Internet Banking" system.

How to connect to the InternetBank system?

To connect to the "Internet Banking" system it is necessary to obtain a list of one-time passwords in any of the information kiosks or ATMs of the Bank. To do this, in the ATM menu, select "Payment", then "Services", then "A list of IBA passwords”. After that, you should log in as a user on the web site https://www.hbservice.com: you should select the menu option "Create a new user” and enter the card number. Further, in the next page fill out the required fields, namely: enter a one-time password from the password list, obtained by you from an ATM, according to the serial number specified on this page. In the field below specify the user name and for confirmation enter your personal password twice.

Later, when using the system, you just enter the user name in the appropriate field and a one-time password from the list to confirm transactions.

The International Bank of Azerbaijan has completed work on the introduction of a new version of the InternetBank system for legal persons and individuals engaged in the entrepreneurial activity. This system enables customers of this category to manage their accounts from anywhere, saving time and money. The new version gives the customer the following options:

- Set up a flexible system of access to the accounts for the various staff members (up to 5 hierarchical levels);

- With a special key-fob get access to accounts from any computer and at the same time without any threat of unlawful invasion;

- Use templates for frequently repeated operations, which can accelerate the process of their implementation;

- Receive information about accounts and create account statements in a convenient for clients format and upload them to your computer;

- Carry out any kind of transfer both between the customer's accounts and to any person in the country and abroad;

- Convert currency;

- To open time deposits;

- Obtain current information about credits and repay them.

To connect to the “Internet Bank” service an organization or company shall apply to the bank branch servicing the company or organization, fill out a special form and sign a contract. The Bank will provide the appropriate secret codes to login in the “Internet Bank” system
Besides all this, the “Online payment system” section has been opened on the site of IBA (www.ibar.az) enabling all bank cardholders, including the owners of social and pension cards (more than 1 800 000 customers), to pay for public utility services, satellite television, Internet, mobile and services of CDMA-operators, etc. For example, if you need to pay for electricity, open the "Utilities" window, type the subscription code in this box, then enter a 16-digit number of the plastic card and the amount.
