OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2011. The final round of the competition in computer science and web programming “BSU Entrant-2011” took place in Minsk, Belarus. Fifty-three senior high school students from all Belarusian regions participated in the competition, reported the press-centre of IBA.

Twenty-four contestants were selected the winners. Being equal at overall index, they will have the right of preferential enrollment in 2011 to any specialty of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Belarusian State University (BSU).

Dmitry Medvedev, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, and Valery Romanchik, Chairman of the Department for Web Technologies and Computer-Aided Design, awarded the winners. They received honorary diplomas of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics and prizes from the sponsors of the competition including IBA.
