DemirBank Fosters E-Financial Services
OREANDA-NEWS. May 10, 2011. DemirBank is developing electronic financial services, including Internet banking, e-commerce, etc.
Bank’s chairman of board Roman Amirjanov says that today they are preparing to render e-commerce services and receive e-payments to 70 customers.
"E-commerce itself is a fairly well-developed business, and the difference in prices in electronic and real stores in the world practice is usually about 50%. In Azerbaijan, the process is just beginning, and it will take time to develop this business and achieve the proper level," Amirjanov noted.
He points out that DemirBank, as the financial institution involved in the process of payment of virtual shopping, guarantees the safety of payments by security system 3D Secure, but often companies selling products through e-commerce, allow dishonesty in respect of customers and deliver to them substandard or counterfeit products of low quality, thus damaging their image and business in general.
