OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2011. Information Technologies Institute of Azerbaijan National Science Academy (ANSA) is carrying out active work on development of AzScienceNet’s technical and program infrastructure.

The Institute  informs that following the performed work the speed of access to global AzScienceNet has increased to 132 Mb/s.

"At present work is also underway on issuing of static IP addresses to ANSA’s scientific bodies , sensible distribution of outgoing access speed to global network ",- the report says.

Under ANSA’s specialists’ words AzScienceNet’s organization, exploitation and service development is the main condition of the process of integration acceleration in global scientific environment, organization of on line  tracing of thesis defense process in ANSA’s institutions and organizations. It is  also essential in creation of single unification system in AzScienceNet’s electronic mail service, organization of on line viodeo conference in the country and other countries , web hosting services for the country’s scientific agencies, remote education services and so on.
