OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2011. China Steel Corporation (CSC) signed strategic partnership agreement with JAC Motor, on April 21st, targeting annual supply for Cold Rolled products over 20,000 Tonnes by 2012. This will assist CSC to gain another exporting channel for Cold Rolled material, reported the press-centre of China Steel Corporation.

To produce high standard automobile material as its primary task,the addition of No.3 CAL (Continuous Annealing Line) at CSC has been completed with designed annual capacity at 1.5Million Tonnes, with CR Coil at 1.1Millions Tonnes and HDG Coil at 400,000 Tonnes separately.

The strategic partnership between CSC and JAC Motor would bring an estimate of 500 Million NTD purchase a year. Through its subsidiary, China Steel Global Trading corp. (CSGT), CSC has been developing exports for Cold Rolled and Hot-Dipped Galvanized Coils to China, Southeast Asia, Europe, India, South America, Mexico etc., striving for oversea markets in all continents.

Besides CR material, JAC Motor also demands great amount of Hot Rolled material. Once the capacity expansion at CSC completes, could also support JAC Motor the HR Materials (including Pickled and Oiled material).

JAC Motor achieved a market sale more than 440,000 automobiles in 2010. It employs over 11,000 staff and technicians with 610,000 automobile and 350,000 engines of annual production capacity.
