OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2011. The stimulation of growing of vegetables in hothouse is one of the priorities for the authorities. The Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said this to journalists during his visit to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

"Together with the Ministry of Energy, we foresee reducing energy: electricity and gas for hothouse market-gardening. In addition, we examine a question to provide electricity and gas at a price of 30% of the market value for such farms that are situated within 30-40 kilometers from thermal and hydroelectric power stations”, - said Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

"I believe that the Government's measures will stimulate hothouse market-gardening in the country", - Mykola Prysiazhniuk consider.
